When I die, what plant will come out of my body?
This artwork explores the lifecycle of cotton, from a seed awakening in the soil, growing into a delicate plant, and transforming into fibres that have wrapped and protected humanity for generations.
Through this work, the journey of cotton is traced from earth, to garment, and back to earth again, returning to the soil where it naturally decomposes, nourishes new life, and becomes part of the continuous cycle of nature.
It is a reflection on our connection with the natural world and the hidden journeys of the materials that surround us, where every element carries a story of transformation, connection, and renewal.
